Housekeeping/Laundry Associate - 2nd shift
About The Position
The Housekeeper/Laundry associate is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas as well as washing, drying, folding and delivering laundry to closets. This role involves performing general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces. It also includes performing general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by a supervisor, and accomplishing all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor. Other duties include maintaining all equipment and supplies in proper condition, attending in-service training and education sessions, performing specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, and maintaining resident confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
