About The Position

The Housekeeping Inventory Control Specialist manages inventory for the entire housekeeping department, ensuring supplies, equipment, and materials are tracked, maintained, and available for daily operations. The role also supervises team members who interact with chemicals, cleaning supplies, and vacuum equipment.

Requirements

Three months of related experience in a hotel or casino environment and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair vacuum equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be knowledgeable about Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
Must possess and maintain applicable regional gaming cards and/or licenses, if required.

Nice To Haves

Biohazard training.
OSHA 10-hour certification.

Responsibilities

Inventory all cleaning, operating, and guest supplies for the housekeeping department.
Oversee cleanliness and organization of chemical storage, dry storage, and vacuum rooms.
Perform vacuum repairs and maintenance as needed.
Maintain and manage vendor relationships and communications.
Conduct monthly price checks on products to ensure cost efficiency.
Advise management on cost-saving products, alternatives, and operational procedures.
Test and evaluate new products and equipment before implementation.
Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, including maintaining MSDS sheets and proper labeling.
Follow Housekeeping procedures, policies, and operational standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervise team members who interact with chemicals, cleaning supplies, and vacuum equipment.
