About The Position
The Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa is seeking a Housekeeping Intern to service and maintain the maintenance and upkeep of all floors within the hotel in accordance with Omni Standards. This role involves ensuring cleanliness and upkeep in various areas of the hotel, including lobbies, F&B outlets, public areas, restrooms, fitness center, pool areas, corridors, staircases, executive offices, dining rooms, lounges, guestrooms, and function rooms. The intern will also assist with cleaning dorms and be comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions when servicing the pool/cabana area. Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensure hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the week.
- Care for all areas of F&B Outlets floors.
- Care for floors in public areas and restrooms.
- Service the Fitness Center/Indoor Pool and Outdoor Pool area floors & restrooms.
- Service the outdoor pool/cabana area by cleaning restrooms, public areas, trash removal, and ensuring floors are well-kept and free of debris.
- Keep all lobby area corridors and staircases debris-free at all times.
- Service Executive Committee offices on a weekly basis.
- Keep Dining Room carpets clean.
- Vacuum and clean all lobby lounges and areas as well as guestrooms and guestroom corridors.
- Keep veranda clean and swept daily.
- Clean function rooms after an event is completed and set-up has cleared the furniture from the meeting room.
- Assist with cleaning the men’s dorms.
- Be comfortable working outside in extreme weather conditions when servicing the pool/cabana area.
