About The Position

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector for Hotel Santa Barbara, a charming and historic boutique hotel in downtown Santa Barbara. This role is crucial in ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and general maintenance in rooms and public spaces. The Housekeeping Inspector will also be responsible for managing the mini-bar service, ensuring it is fully stocked and well-maintained for guests. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Housekeeping and customer service experience
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
U.S. Work Authorization

Responsibilities

Ensure quality of cleanliness and general maintenance of rooms and public spaces.
Provide guests with a fully stocked and well-maintained mini bar on a consistent basis.
Maintain a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items.
Inventory all guest mini bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to the guest’s departure.
Have positive guest interactions.
Inspect housekeepers’ work to required standards to ensure quality checkouts and daily service in units and in public spaces.
Assist with cleaning of rooms and/or covering for housekeepers as needed.
Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Tech or Supervisor.
Report any theft, damage, or lost and found items to management.
Ensure that proper furnishing and literature is in all units.
Comply with all hotel safety guidelines.
Pick up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible.
May perform similar duties as requested by Supervisor, Director, or General Manager.
