Requirements

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
Must have High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
2-4 years’ experience as hotel Room Attendant.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment
Knowledge of safe and proper chemical handling
Ability to: a) maintain hotel standards, policies and procedures, b) prioritize and organize work assignments, direct performance of assigned staff and follow up with corrections where needed.
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
Demonstrated ability to train staff and ensure high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms and/or suites to ensure furnishings, linens, and equipment are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. May upgrade to premium room type when available.
Analyze guest satisfaction reports and develop action plans to improve scores. Prepare reports and communicate results to the hotel’s management.
Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Report, turn-in, and/or log all log and found items.
May assist in cleaning hotel guest rooms and public areas.
May assist with deep cleaning projects.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
