The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for responding promptly to guest and inter-departmental requests, preparing and transporting the housekeeping cart, entering guest rooms to ensure vacancy and replace amenities, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash and room service items, checking appliance functionality, organizing room items, dusting and polishing surfaces, and performing floor care duties. The role also involves adhering to company and safety policies, reporting maintenance issues, completing safety training, and maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality. Additionally, the position requires welcoming and assisting guests, communicating clearly, supporting team goals, and meeting quality standards. Physical requirements include lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently and over 25 pounds with assistance, pushing/pulling a loaded cart, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, standing/sitting/kneeling/walking for extended periods, and manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The role also includes performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
