The position also includes posting room occupancy records, addressing guest complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment, and writing requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements. Responsibilities also include examining carpets, drapes, and furniture for damage, checking and counting linens and supplies, and aiding in budget control through supervision of employee use of resources. The role requires recording inspection results, notifying cleaning personnel of inadequacies, and communicating with other hotel departments regarding issues requiring their attention. Ensuring key control policies and taking the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner are also key aspects of the role. Other duties may be assigned.
