About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Houseperson will also be responsible for restocking amenities, managing laundry and linen, maintaining an organized workspace, and assisting with deep cleaning and special projects as needed. This position requires a customer service mindset and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina: ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and be on feet for the whole shift.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting.
- Restock towels, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Sort laundry and operate laundry machines safely.
- Handle linen with care.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and closets organized.
- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects.
- Participate in team training when needed.
