About The Position

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in guest corridors and assisting with linen distribution, trash removal, and inventory organization. This behind-the-scenes role ensures that the department operates smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items safely.
  • Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers linen, towels, and supplies to room attendants throughout the day.
  • Remove trash and soiled linen from guest floors promptly.
  • Maintain housekeeping closets, hallways, elevators, ice machines and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
  • Respond quickly to guest and team requests for additional supplies or assistance.
  • Support public area cleaning as needed and additional cleaning projects as needed.
