About The Position
The Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and servicing all hotel areas and is responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment. This role ensures that guests have a pleasing perception of the Ocean Casino Resort by maintaining cleanliness and addressing needs promptly.
Requirements
- Must be guest oriented.
- Must be knowledgeable in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
- Must demonstrate good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service all Hotel areas, including the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, and moving of furniture.
- Deliver supplies where needed, such as in guest rooms, bathroom tissue, tissues, soap, and to other supply closets throughout the property.
- Promptly report any maintenance problems with equipment or the property, and any guest needs, to the Supervisor.
