Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Encinitas
About The Position
This full-time position works 64 hours every two weeks at Scripps Memorial Campus in Encinitas. The employee must be available for a varied shift, with start time dependent on department needs, and a varied schedule that includes weekends. The housekeeping team supports environmental care by cleaning patient-care and non-patient-care areas, providing linen service, removing waste and sharps containers, setting up and breaking down meetings and events, and carrying out infection control and sanitation. The work uses technical, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. Employees follow established policies and practices to comply with the Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements, and demonstrate a work style reflecting the organization's mission, philosophy, and goals.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Desire to provide the highest quality of service.
Responsibilities
