About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions regarding chemicals, cleaning devices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a janitor or housekeeper in a hospital or other large facility.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a janitor or housekeeper in a healthcare or similar setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and comfortability for patients and staff.
  • Perform janitorial duties with attention to detail in cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Utilize strong cleaning safety skills.
  • Meet deadlines within a demanding schedule.
  • Adjust in the moment to achieve desired results.
  • Read and comprehend instructions regarding chemicals, cleaning devices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete "Handle-With-Care" Physical Restraint Technique Training during orientation.
