About The Position

EvergreenHealth is seeking a Housekeeper to join its Environmental Services team. The role performs a wide range of housekeeping duties to create and maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between EvergreenHealth and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Healthcare 1199NW; union membership is optional.

Requirements

• High school graduate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors, walls, windows, fixtures, and furnishings in clean and sanitary condition according to departmental procedures.
• Use appropriate cleaning and infection-control procedures in specific areas.
• Communicate the status of rooms from the assigned area to the Housekeeping Lead and Admitting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
