About The Position
The EVS department supports new hires with hands-on training through a two-week orientation period, no prior experience required. As an Environmental Services (EVS) representative, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. EVS Department Roles include Housekeeper (Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting), Floor Care Rep. (Clean and maintain floors), Waste Processor (Transport waste to collection and/or disposal points), and Project Worker (Furniture movement, set up events, UV light operation).
Requirements
- No experience needed.
- Full-time and Part-time employees must work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting rooms and common areas.
- Cleaning and maintaining floors.
- Transporting waste to collection and/or disposal points.
- Furniture movement, setting up events, and UV light operation.
