About The Position

The Housekeeping Coordinator will use technology to send, receive, and print product requisitions, and order packaging, raw materials, and supplies as needed. This role involves notifying management of low stock levels, completing requisition forms, and organizing and maintaining filing systems. The position also requires printing, organizing, and separating various necessary documents, summarizing relevant information, and distributing it to appropriate employees. Additionally, the coordinator must report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, complete safety training, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. The role includes welcoming guests, assisting other employees, communicating clearly and professionally, and developing positive working relationships. A key aspect is ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings. The job also involves reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing tasks that require moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The role may also require moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the job duties. Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None

Responsibilities

  • Use technology to send, receive, and print out product requisitions.
  • Order packaging, raw materials, and supplies as needed.
  • Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
  • Print, organize, and separate various necessary documents, summarize relevant information, and distribute information to appropriate employees.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
