About The Position

AutoCamp is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Housekeeper to support its outdoor hospitality properties. The role is responsible for cleaning assigned rooms to established standards, maintaining guest supplies and housekeeping equipment, reporting room status and issues, assisting guests, and contributing to a professional, welcoming workplace. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• No educational requirement.
• Able to arrive for assigned shifts on time.
• Understand how to properly use assigned cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning-product handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to solve practical problems and navigate ambiguous situations where standards have not been established.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Excellent and attentive customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working as a hotel housekeeper.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Well-groomed, with a keen sense of style and an appreciation for good design.
• Creative problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms thoroughly according to guidelines, including dusting, mopping, cleaning windows, making beds, removing trash, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
• Straighten kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and furniture items; dust, polish, and remove marks from walls, counters, and furnishings.
• Sweep, mop, and care for floors.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies and maintain inventory of items replaced in guestrooms.
• Communicate the status of cleaned rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Immediately report lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, including the room number or area where found.
• Report damaged or missing items to Maintenance and the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report exceptional or unusual circumstances, such as a checkout room without luggage or room damage, to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Use designated cleaning products properly and safely and follow procedures for handling dirty rags and linens.
• Restock and maintain the housekeeping cart and follow key code control procedures.
• Help create a positive workplace by being friendly, helpful, and accommodating to guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Assist guests with questions and requests.
• Represent AutoCamp professionally and courteously, maintaining attention to personal appearance and grooming.
• Learn and carry out property emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
