About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel laundry and supporting general housekeeping duties. This role involves sorting laundry, operating commercial laundry equipment, folding and organizing linens, maintaining laundry supplies, and assisting with keeping public areas tidy. The position requires attention to detail, physical capability, and flexible availability to meet the needs of the hotel.

Requirements

Laundry or cleaning experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Detail-oriented mindset.
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and staying on feet moving throughout the shift.
Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of soiling to ensure proper cleaning.
Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
Fold, press, and organize linen neatly and efficiently.
Maintain laundry carts and closets with necessary supplies in an organized manner.
Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and assisting where needed.
