About The Position

Perform housekeeping and general maintenance services by keeping assigned areas clean, safe, and secure.

Requirements

• General knowledge of housekeeping.
• Keen sense of observation and meticulous work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must have a current Texas Driver License.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to run power equipment (sweeper, slow speed buffer, high speed buffer, carpet cleaning equipment).
• Ability and willingness to work indoors & outdoors in varying degrees of temperatures and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sanitation tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning floors, emptying trash and recycling, sanitizing restroom areas, and washing windows.
• Conduct periodic housekeeping duties such as carpet cleaning, floor waxing, and light maintenance.
• Notify the Distribution Administrative Assistant when trash or cardboard compactors are full and require pick-up.
• Ensure safety and security by reporting and removing safety hazards, properly handling and storing chemicals, identifying and reporting the need for major repairs, assisting in monitoring building security and safety, and identifying and reporting blocked fire extinguishers and exits.
• Maintain the general outside premises by picking up trash and emptying outside trash containers.
