Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable.
One year of comparable work preferred.
Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces.
Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
Use ladders when required.
Job has the potential to expose the employee to human blood pathogens or infectious materials.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all clubhouse areas including restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors
Empty trash and recycling; replace liners
Restock supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, toiletries)
Maintain cleanliness and odor control throughout the day
Ensure showers, sinks, and fixtures are sanitized and in working order
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for members and guests
Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleanliness needs promptly
Track and report cleaning supply needs
Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards)
Perform minor tasks such as changing light bulbs if needed
Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
Ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards
