About The Position

Join us as a Part-time Housekeeping Attendant at The Navy Inn, Fallon, NV with the Navy Exchange Service Command. Start your career in support of the U.S. Navy and our fleet at large! This role provides critical mission support by supporting NHG lodging guests with the U.S. Military across the Globe. The Navy Inn is dedicated to serving the men and women who wear the flag and their families, providing them with the tools they need. Located in Fallon, Nevada, Naval Air Station Fallon is the Navy’s premier tactical aviator training facility. The team is dedicated and driven, supporting a high-volume military lodging location and valuing excellent service to the Military Community. We are in need of Housekeeping Attendants who are natural team players and will utilize discretion relative to confidentiality, operational security, and other job duties that will ensure critical operational success on a day-to-day basis. You will be providing support to the housekeeping team, keeping the lodges tidy for our military guests, making an impact across Navy Lodging Locations and supporting critical initiatives across Military Bases. Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality or a similar setting is a plus but not required!
• Physical requirements: moderate physical effort, moving furniture, use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience performing the following: general housekeeping duties, to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, moving items, polishing, cleaning, removal of debris/trash, transporting clean and dirty linen towels, etc.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and other assigned areas. This includes but is not limited to cleaning, making beds, inspecting furniture/equipment for wear, restock room amenities, vacuuming of hallways, corridors or other common areas etc.
• Communicate status of cleaned rooms and spaces to supervisor through completion of daily assignments or property management systems in the housekeeping department.
• Responsible for linen for their assigned rooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment, inspect equipment, completes some maintenance requests for broken, defective or items in need of replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory and organization of assigned carts.
