About The Position
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Nice To Haves
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Changing linens and making beds
- Vacuuming and dusting
- Restocking supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Removing trash and dirty linens
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Safely lift a minimum of 60-70 lbs.
- Cleaning Carts, Closets and Laundry Chutes.
- Assist in Laundry Operations when scheduled.
- Assist in cleaning lobby bathrooms and public areas when scheduled.
- Clean and Clear all Hallways assigned and service landings assigned.
