The role involves delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring rooms and public spaces are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Your attention to detail will help create memorable stays in the heart of Valemount’s stunning mountain setting. Responsibilities are not limited to housekeeping – you may be asked to help in all of the departments within the hotel.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Criminal record check required under Vantage Hotels policy
Good command of the English language

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms: make beds, replace linens, sanitize bathrooms
Maintain cleanliness in public areas and common spaces
Handle laundry duties and assist with linen inventory
Respond promptly to guest requests and work collaboratively with the team, comfortable interacting with the guests, greeting them warmly, asking about their stay and ensuring they feel valued and cared.
Able to relay information of the Village and surrounding areas.
Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
