About The Position

Cabot Cape Breton is looking for weekend and part-time room attendants. A special need for Monday-Thursday but can accommodate a variety of schedules. Daily & weekly shuttles as well as complimentary housing may be available under some circumstances. Competitive wages, an excellent opportunity to see a whole new side of the Island! As a Housekeeping Attendant at Cabot Cape Breton, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests comfort and satisfaction during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to the overall guest experience, and upholding Cabot Cape Breton’s high standards of cleanliness and service. Requirements

Consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
Ability to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Ability to perform long hours of moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and otherwise exert up to 50 pounds of force.
Ability to ascend or descend stairs and ramps on an occasional basis.
Ability to work with and around chemicals, and registered products and safely follow product labels.
Repetitive kneeling, scooping, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, crawling and twisting.
Ability to work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions.
Constant focus and repetitive work.
Ability to manage timeline pressures and constraints.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
