About The Position

Rose Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment that meets residents’ needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position required
  • A history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly cleaning functions as directed by supervisor.
  • Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  • Clean common areas as needed
  • Check for cobwebs and remove.
  • Vacuum, dust, and mop hallways.
  • Vacuum stairways as required.
  • Clean fingerprints from windows, doors, mirrors, and fixtures as needed.
  • Clean resident rooms as scheduled.
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper order.
  • Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which promotes a positive marketing environment.
  • Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
