About The Position

Responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas in the distribution center. Perform other duties as assigned. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

  • No Education or Experience required
  • Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret employment policies, instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English
  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision
  • Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs
  • Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning cafeteria including emptying garbage containers
  • Outdoor cleaning, possible snow removal
  • Cleaning office areas, includes vacuuming, dusting, and removing garbage
  • Sweeping and buffing floors
  • Cleaning restrooms, follow appropriate guidelines for Blood borne pathogens
  • Appropriate cleaning and disposal of blood or other potentially infectious material spills
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
