This role is responsible for daily cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility while following infection control and safety standards. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and professional who takes pride in creating a clean and comfortable environment for others. New Day Recovery is a premier treatment center in Niles, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. Our housekeeping staff play a vital role in that journey.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Floor scrubbing equipment experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing client rooms, offices, and common areas, including use of professional floor scrubbing equipment and deep-cleaning procedures.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Safely handle waste, soiled linens, and cleaning materials in accordance with OSHA and facility guidelines
- Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies
- Report maintenance or repair concerns promptly
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures
