The housekeeping services staff are responsible for maintaining and assuring uncompromising levels of cleanliness in work areas, buildings and grounds. The housekeeping services staff are responsible for maintaining an attractive and comfortable home in an environment consistent with regulations and established policies and procedures. Located in Crosby, MN, Heartwood offers a range of senior living options, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and a skilled nursing facility. Our 30-acre campus is located close to the Brainerd and Cuyuna Lakes recreation areas and is surrounded by woods and wildlife providing a serene environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and assure uncompromising levels of cleanliness in work areas, buildings and grounds.
  • Maintain an attractive and comfortable home in an environment consistent with regulations and established policies and procedures.
  • Clean resident rooms and common areas.
  • Clean designated areas such as resident living spaces, common areas, and other areas as assigned.
  • Perform general cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies, and cleaning windows.
  • Collect laundry from resident rooms and designated areas.
  • Sort and distribute linens and resident personal clothing per assigned schedule.
  • Iron articles as required.
  • Inspect laundry and linen, informing supervisor of replacement needs for communication with residents/families.
  • Ensure that housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas.
  • Ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with tracking, receiving, and monitoring of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide proper documentation of work per established procedures.
