Requirements

Proficient in reading labels and following both oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to maintain composure and take appropriate actions in high-pressure or stressful situations.
Proficient visual assessment skills covering all facets of the facility.
Capability to differentiate between smells and temperatures, and responsiveness to audible pages.
Physical capabilities including walking, reaching, bending, lifting (up to approximately 40 pounds), grasping, pulling, stretching, stooping, and fine hand coordination.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the demands and nuances of such environments.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning duties in assigned areas within the facility, including resident rooms and bathrooms, according to specified schedules and established cleanliness benchmarks.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained to minimize health risks.
Efficiently manage time and coordinate tasks with other staff members to minimize disruptions to residents and staff during cleaning procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area and department, promoting a hygienic and orderly environment.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring and replenishing supplies required for effective departmental operations.
