About The Position

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building. The role contributes to patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction by following applicable State and Federal regulations and company policies concerning safety, infection control, and other standards. The assistant responds positively to requests from supervisors, patients, their families, and staff, and follows instructions and cleaning schedules. The position is part-time, with hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at $13.50–$14.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Complete the pre-employment process and screening successfully.
• Pass a physical examination for employment at the facility.
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training.
• Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Have a basic understanding of cleanliness standards.
• Possess the skills and abilities to perform a variety of housekeeping duties.
• Be willing to learn and follow applicable regulations and policies.
• Be passionate about delivering great customer service.
• Be able to work as part of a dedicated team.
• Maintain a professional and appropriate appearance, conversation, and behavior.
