About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, housekeeping staff help ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients and their families. The Housekeeping Aide maintains cleanliness and fosters a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support throughout the hospital. The role involves interacting with patients and their families, delivering superior customer service, and ensuring patients' comfort and safety. This is a full-time evening-flex opportunity at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, New York. The schedule includes every weekend. The position requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Capable of handling automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums.
- Ability to read and understand English.
