About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. This is an as-needed position designed to provide coverage for staffing needs, vacations, and callouts. Flexible availability is preferred.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Compassionate and respectful approach when working around elderly and disabled residents
- Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces
- Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
- Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility guidelines
- Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents at all times
