Requirements

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Dependable, positive, and committed to providing outstanding service
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or environmental services is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, and sanitize assigned areas
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment by properly storing cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Dispose of trash and biohazardous waste according to facility procedures
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms and honoring personal preferences whenever possible
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and pest activity promptly
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to support exceptional resident care
  • Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned
