About The Position
This role is responsible for providing cleaning, floor care, moving, and project services as directed by a supervisor. The Housekeeping Aide will demonstrate knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools. They will interact cheerfully and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and work colleagues. The position requires maintaining equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition, and responding rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, and spills. The role also involves taking initiative in rendering service or responding to needs and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
