Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and infection-control procedures
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented mindset
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical housekeeping duties throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe environments for patients, residents, staff, and visitors in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures when cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas.
Replenish supplies and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate staff.
Work alongside healthcare professionals and facility staff to help maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and residents.
