About The Position

Join Team Outsider as a Housekeeping & Activities Team Member! Are you someone who loves creating fun, welcoming experiences while also taking pride in keeping spaces clean and inviting? Team Outsider is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in a hybrid role that combines housekeeping and activities—ensuring our guests enjoy both spotless facilities and memorable campground experiences! As a Housekeeping & Activities Team Member, you'll be responsible for keeping our campground's facilities clean and inviting while also organizing and leading engaging activities for guests of all ages. This is a seasonal role with work dates through 10/31/25. A 30-amp site is provided along with a 25% store discount and a discount on propane. If two individuals are interested in splitting the responsibilities of this role, we are open to discussing a job-share arrangement.

Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly, and communicate comprehensively.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.
Requires the use of hands and fingers to feel and handle objects.
Able to work indoors and outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Capable of moving safely over uneven or wet terrain.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for campground facilities (restrooms, cabins, game rooms, laundry areas, pool furniture, etc.).
Ensure guest areas are spotless, well-stocked, and properly maintained.
Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost and found items to management.
Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and wear appropriate protective gear.
Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, encouraging participation in scheduled activities.
Help organize and lead games, arts & crafts, themed events, and outdoor activities.
Create an inclusive and engaging environment for guests of all ages.
Ensure activity spaces remain clean, organized, and properly supplied.
