Requirements

• Must have a valid driver license.
• Must be able to clear a background check to work on a federal base as a contracted employee.
• Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
• Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) continuously throughout a shift.
• Able to lift 0 – 40 lb. frequently.
• Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
• Must have communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Executive Housekeeper, or Quality Control Mgr or Lead Housekeeper, as needed
• Performs daily cleaning procedures in accordance with training videos in assigned areas.
• Cleans and disinfects clinical and non-clinical areas within the facility, to include (but not limited to) throwing out trash, spot mopping, wiping down surfaces with approved disinfectants, replenishing paper and soap products.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services.
• Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
