About The Position

As a Housekeeper in Good Shepherd’s Skilled Nursing Facility, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. The role is part of a dedicated housekeeping team and includes cleaning resident rooms and designated common areas, disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and caring for housekeeping equipment. The position is full-time, based at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, with a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the building, including resident rooms and designated common areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Collect trash and reline wastebaskets.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Restock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Clean, disinfect, and properly store housekeeping equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
