About The Position

This individual cleans and keeps the hospital environment in an orderly condition. The position will be located at the ER at Martintown location. Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273-bed acute care facility providing healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. It has been recognized for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and coronary artery disease. Aiken Regional also provides comprehensive healthcare services including behavioral health, emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services, imaging, and wound care.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience a plus, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Must be able to use housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffers, battery operated equipment, mops and carpet equipment; Reading and Numerical competency;
Customer service skills

Responsibilities

Cleans offices, patient rooms, offices, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per given standards.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
