About The Position

This is an on-call housekeeping position at Seven Hills Senior Living, located at 733 Selby Ave St. Paul MN. The role involves providing consistent and quality cleaning services to residents and staff, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, and following established cleaning routines and schedules. Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and performing various cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience, the ability to make responsible decisions, work independently and flexibly, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, a good work ethic, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience
Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s and overall community's best interest
Ability to motivate oneself and work independently
Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
Good work ethic
Maintains confidentiality

Responsibilities

Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule
Assure resident apartments are clean and sanitized as scheduled
Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues
Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe
Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner
Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture
Washing inside glass doors and windows
Sweeping and/or mopping floors
Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
Dusting
Rubbish/trash removal
Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards
Seasonal duties as assigned
