About The Position

The Saint Paul Hotel is hiring immediately for a Housekeeper/Public Areas Attendant. The Housekeeper / Public Areas Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas are cleaned according to standards; carts and closets are restocked; cleanliness of all work areas; and confidentiality and security of all guest rooms is maintained.

Requirements

Availability to work weekends.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about.
The employee frequently is required to move and/or carry equipment up to 20 pounds.
The employee frequently is required to operate and use tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms by priority, including changing soiled linen, shower curtains, terry and other linens as needed and cleaning all surfaces with the correct equipment and chemicals.
Vacuum throughout entire room and spray with deodorizer.
Inspect and replenish guest supplies such as cups, tissues, and toiletries as applicable.
Empty and clean coffeemakers and replenish coffee supplies.
Ensure all guest items are removed after check-out.
Maintain security of all guest items for guests who are still checked in.
Realign furniture to floor plan.
Special deep clean areas as needed.
Performs all duties on position checklist including all cleaning duties.
Delivers items as requested by guests.
Dust, polish, vacuum and clean public areas including offices, pool area, fitness center, lobby, and public restrooms.
Any and all other duties as assigned.
