About The Position

PARC Retirement Living is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We’re seeking a Housekeeper to join our Cristalina PARC team in Kelowna. In the heart of the vibrant Pandosy Village, Cristalina – PARC’s newest community – is in full bloom. Just one block from Lake Okanagan, the residence has 133 gorgeously appointed suites. This modern, sustainably designed nine-storey building is purpose-made for independent living, with vitality and social connection built right in. Residents can enjoy fine dining, lounge area, fitness activities, arts, culture, and gardening – or just sit back and take in beautiful views of the lake with a glass of fine wine. As a PARC Housekeeper, you are a caretaker of this vision – responsible for cleaning resident suites and common areas to create a safe, tidy and pleasant environment for residents.

Requirements

  • At least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.
  • Completed Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program.
  • Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
  • Criminal Record Check required.
  • TB test required within the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.
  • Performing laundry services for residents as needed.
  • Identifying, reporting and logging potential maintenance issues to management.
  • Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment and carts in safe and sanitary condition.
  • Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely.
