About The Position

Alto Tavares is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our warm, welcoming senior living community. This role offers consistent morning hours, with work typically completed by 3:30pm, and a supportive team environment. The primary responsibility is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in, clean occupied apartments weekly or as scheduled, and maintain the cleanliness of common areas according to the outlined schedule, ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles.
Familiar with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior housekeeping or senior living experience.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
Dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in a job done right.
Warm, professional demeanor around residents and families.
Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces to the highest standard.
Ensure all areas are consistently fresh, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and visitors.
Follow infection control and sanitation protocols throughout every shift.
Restock supplies and report maintenance concerns as needed.
Be a warm, respectful presence to residents and families throughout your shift.
Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
Other duties as assigned.
