About The Position

This employee ensures proper cleaning of all guest rooms’ floor, bathroom, bed, and general areas. The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning of guest rooms during scheduled cleaning times, responding to guest requests for amenities, vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, and performing general dusting of rooms as described in company policies and procedures. The role ensures guest satisfaction of room cleanliness while simultaneously striving to reduce disruption of guest experience in the facility.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods as well as be on your feet
• Ability to hear, speak and see
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach and walk
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and written in English
• Ability to follow directions
• Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
• Obtain required licenses
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
• Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
• Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
• Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management

Nice To Haves

• Previous casino-industry experience is not required, but a friendly, positive attitude is.
