About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control policies; and providing positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. The Housekeeper also maintains cleaning records and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Able to work around cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
