Requirements

Valid PA Driver’s License
Able to successfully perform all key responsibilities of the role with reliability and care.
Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and infection prevention
Comfort with physically active work, including bending, lifting, and reaching
Reliability and a proactive approach to getting the job done

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean interior and exterior windows, including screens
Sweep under and around appliances (without moving them) using specialized tools
Clean indoor and outdoor light fixtures, including ceiling domes, drop lights, porch lights, and lampposts
Perform deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Wash walls, doors, baseboards, vents, ceiling grids, furniture, and stairwells
Change curtains, blinds, draperies, and shower curtains as assigned
Wash beds and mattresses; remake beds to ensure resident comfort
Maintain floors through vacuuming, dust mopping, damp mopping, and periodic scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
Shampoo carpets and upholstery using extractors when needed
Dust high and hard-to-reach areas to support cleanliness and air quality
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling throughout the facility
Assist with moving furniture and equipment for deep cleaning or space configuration
Safely operate housekeeping equipment and report any repair needs promptly
Follow proper chemical usage and cleaning procedures for every task, wearing PPE as required
