About The Position

This role is for the early birds! You are the first face our guests see in the morning. It’s about more than just cleaning; it’s about setting the tone for a traveler's day of adventure. Work as a team to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the hostel.

Requirements

Positive energy and a smile even at the start of an early shift.
Ability to move and roll up sleeves; balancing serving guests with active cleaning for the duration of the shift.
Ability to work independently at times.
Take pride in whatever you do.
Understanding the importance of the Housekeeping department's role in delivering a great experience to guests.

Responsibilities

Set up the morning breakfast spread, keep the coffee flowing, and ensure the kitchen and cafeteria are stocked and welcoming.
Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the hostel, focusing on the high-traffic cafeteria and common areas during the morning rush.
After the breakfast service, transition into cleaning guestrooms effectively to ensure they are ready for new arrivals.
Follow the hostel cleaning schedule.
Communicate regularly with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Front Desk to ensure rooms are cleaned as needed.
Perform laundry duties such as collecting linens and towels, washing, folding, and putting them away.
