About The Position

Adams Place is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team working days who is able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors. The qualified applicant for this position must be able to be on feet 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects and work with standard cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand Standard English
• Must be flexible, be a team player, and have a positive attitude
• Must enjoy working with geriatric and other healthcare patients

Responsibilities

• cleaning resident homes (kitchen, bathrooms, dust, mop, change bed)
• emptying garbage cans
• cleaning common areas: hallways, walls, furniture and equipment
• assisting in the laundry room
• following established cleaning schedules
• other duties as assigned
