About The Position

As an essential part of the Environmental Services team, the Housekeeper provides clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for residents, guests and associates. The role promotes sanitary conditions that help prevent the spread of infection and odors. Work is performed in designated areas according to schedules, procedures and protocols established by WCBR management. This is a full-time evening-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The starting pay range is $16.88 to $18.03 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Support the department’s overall goals of providing effective and efficient service.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial spaces.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Ability to uphold Magnetic Values (Multicultural, Accountable, Game Changer, Nurturing, Empowering, Teachable).
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean record.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Perform cleaning functions in designated areas according to established schedules.
• Assist, as needed, with cleaning emergency spills that are observed or reported.
• Report needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
