About The Position

Clearwater at Rancharrah, a luxury senior living community in Reno, is seeking a Housekeeper. The role is responsible for cleaning resident apartments according to community guidelines, policies, and procedures. The Housekeeper provides superior customer service and works cooperatively with team members and other departments to maintain established cleanliness and safety standards. The role also involves following cleaning schedules and procedures, monitoring waste and supplies, reporting safety or maintenance concerns, and keeping work areas and equipment safe and orderly. The Housekeeper may assist with moving residents during emergencies and is expected to represent Clearwater Living’s principles and core values, maintain a professional appearance, and perform other assigned duties. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.

Responsibilities

Clean resident apartments, including furnishings, fixtures, heating and cooling units, bathrooms, windows, mirrors, blinds, and shutters, using appropriate cleaning and disinfecting methods and solutions.
Report health, safety, sanitation, apartment repair, or other conditions requiring attention to the supervisor or relevant department.
Follow work and cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
Monitor and remove trash and waste from community interior areas to designated locations throughout the shift.
Keep work areas attractive and free of hazards, and put away equipment when it is no longer needed.
Follow established procedures for mixing, storing, and using chemicals, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions, and for disposing of waste.
Secure and control housekeeping supplies and carts, ensuring chemicals and hazardous materials are not left unattended or accessible to residents or visitors.
Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to support safe and efficient operations.
Assist with moving residents during emergency situations when needed.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
Represent Clearwater Living’s principles and core values daily.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
