About The Position
Sunrise Senior Living provides resident-centered care while supporting team member growth across Canada. The Room Attendant plays an essential role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, families and team members. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry operations while upholding Sunrise’s quality service standards and commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces
- Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens appropriately
- Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry
- Inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, orderly condition
- Follow infection control, OSHA and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors
- Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives
